Founded to honor the legacy of Pittsburgh’s first Black female police commander, Gwen’s Girls is dedicated to improving the lives of Black girls and young women. The organization provides trauma-informed care, advocacy, and evidence-based programs that address the intersections of race, gender, and systemic inequity.

YBMKQ is a dynamic youth-centered nonprofit that creates safe, empowering spaces for Black youth to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and explore their full potential. Through mentorship, workshops, and cultural education, YBMKQ uplifts the next generation of kings and queens.
